Backyard Exploration: Abalone Cove

I only call it “backyard exploration” because it is so close to us. Typically, when people hear the word “exploring”, they immediately think you have to go somewhere far from home. But I suppose we are just blessed that we live so close to so many beautiful spots.

Here are some photos of one of my favorite places close to home: Abalone Cove! It is only across from another one of my favorite spots, Wayfarer Chapel.

Initially it is a down slope, meaning going back to the parking lot will hurt your quads! 😉 It only cost us $5 per car. But this almost untouched part of Palos Verdes is so beautiful I’m pretty sure $5 is less than the experience is truly worth.

Undeveloped parking area. But I heard from one of the workers they are going to change that.
